Ok then, see ya!

Aiden will be the first to let you know if you have overstayed your welcome. When he is ready for you to leave, he will walk up to you, wave his hand and say "Bye". I can barely get my shoes on in the morning before work and he's already waving.

It's either this, or "Bye" means HE is ready to leave. Here he is, dragging THEIR new diaper bag, towards the garage door saying "Bye! Bye!". Somebody get some clothes on that kid!

Hope everyone has a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend!

New Words

I have to post these so I can look back. Here are the latest and greatest from the Little Lemon.

Before bed. Aiden where's your binkie?: "Bee Bee?"

Aiden, time to eat dinner. What should we watch?: "Wub Wub?" (translation: Wow, Wow, Wubsy) Yes, I let him watch TV during dinner. This is one thing I told myself I would never do. Ha! If I had a quarter for every time I said that!

If he drops a toy, if I take my cell phone from him, or he turns the TV off by accident with the remote: "Oh man!"

Aiden, you have a poop? OR You wanna brush your teeth? "Oh yeah!"

What does the dragon say? "Rahhh!" Puppy?: "Ruff!" Birdie?: "Teet!"

Aiden, (you have to sing this part) 'Who lives in a pineapple, under the sea?': "Bob Bob!" (translation - Sponge Bob)

Every night when dad gets home, or first thing in the morning when he sees him: (in a very high pitch, like he hasn't seen him in days) "HIIII DAT!!"

My Little Amigo

Aiden is always "talking", but it all doesn't make too much sense yet. However, in addition to his 5 or so English words, we have Spanish now! As you know, Ceci speaks only Spanish. When I came home from work yesterday he had another new word. I love that he has the opportunity to learn another language at such a young age.

1. Leche (milk)
2. Agua (water)
3. Tres (three)
4. A mi (to me)
He walks around the house all day saying "a mi, a mi, a mi". Especially when he sees the remote control or a cell phone.

He loves to have books read to him as well. Here he is showing Makayla how to read his mini-books.
