Videos of Little Monkey

It was only 4 days that we were gone, but to us it seemed like he had changed so much! For one, and the funniest thing, is he has started some sort of growling noise. And two, he is just in general, so much more vocal and active! He is all over the place. He loves to follow Jeff around the house. And when either of us leaves the room he will crawl over to the door and poke his little head out to see where we went. Jeff and I could not get enough of him last night. He's just so delicious....

Lazy Weekends

This type of weekend is the best in my opinion! We just did the norm, on both Saturday and Sunday.....coffee, breakfast, errands, naps, movies, laundry, yard work, etc.
I was a little under the weather the whole weekend. I've felt like I have been in the process catching something since about last Wednesday. I am going to get some blood work done on my lunch to get to the bottom of this. Nothing serious, just precautionary since we don't want Aiden to catch it if I have something contagious.
Here are some more pictures from the weekend:

This is how Aiden informs me he is full. He's so subtle...

Our Bumbo days are numbered.

He cannot get to a standing position on his own yet, but he thought this was pretty fun once he realized he could hold on to the railing. It's almost time to drop the mattress level.

Before our walk on Sunday. He was cranky, tired and refused to nap. Doesn't he look thrilled? The walk worked though, he was out in a matter of minutes.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

TEETHING

Boy, they weren't kidding about what a PAIN (literally) this stage is. My poor baby....in the evenings especially, he is just miserable. Our only saving grace is Infant Tylenol (which isn't really my first choice to give so often) and another small miracle by the name of Hyland's Teething Tablets. After 3 long days, I think I have a pretty good grasp on what helps him out, as he was able to sleep from 7:00 pm to 4:00 am last night. This is opposed to the waking, LITERALLY every hour on the hour the night before.

Any moms or dads with teething issues, if you haven't already found these please take note of this product.

You can just imagine my joy when I discovered that this whole teething thing can last up to 2 months for just the first couple teeth. Trying my best to find the humor in this, if there is any......
